Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess patients' physical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and manual techniques
- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques for at-home care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in physical therapy
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting
- Ability to provide patient-centered care with empathy and compassion
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations and creating individualized treatment plans
- Familiarity with pediatric physical therapy is a plus
- Expertise in trigger point therapy is highly desirable
This position requires a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
