Pay: $28.00–$32.00+ per hour (DOE)
We are looking for a full detail-oriented and dependable Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least one year of dental office experience, is knowledgeable about dental insurance, and enjoys providing excellent patient service while keeping the administrative side of the practice running smooth.

- Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility.
- Process insurance claim submissions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Post insurance payments and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
- Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve claim discrepancies efficiently.
- Submit insurance appeals as needed.
- Communicate with patients regarding insurance benefits, treatment estimates, and financial responsibilities.
- Prepare and present treatment plans.
- Assist with scheduling and other front office administrative duties.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient records.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of dental office experience required.
- Experience with Carestack or other dental EHR.
- Knowledge of PPO dental insurance is highly desirable.
- Experience with insurance verification, claim processing, EOB posting, and insurance follow-up.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Hours (we can be flexible on hours if needed for the right candidate):
Monday: 7:30a-3:30p
Wednesday: 8:30a-5:30p
Thursday: 8:30a-5:30p
Friday: 7:30a-3:30p
