Overview
We are seeking teachers who embody a joy for learning, a love for students, and a desire to instill God's love and truth in the next generation.
Most positions at Onward are 2-day positions, but we do sometimes have 3 or 4-day positions. We are now hiring for the 26/27 academic year and will likely have a few openings in elementary, middle, and high school in a variety of subjects

Our teachers get to spend their energy and efforts on the classroom environment - bringing learning to life and sharing their excitement with our amazing students.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum frameworks.
- Utilize classroom management techniques to create a safe and productive learning environment.
- Assess student progress through evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administration regarding student performance and classroom activities.
Skills
- Strong background with classroom management.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff.
- Creative writing abilities to develop engaging lesson materials.
- Knowledge of curriculum development processes to ensure comprehensive educational offerings.
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to accommodate different learning preferences.
