Level 2 & Level 3 Security Officer
Day Shift: 6:00AM-2:00PM Swing Shift: 2:00PM-10:00PM & Graveyard Shift: 10:00PM-6:00AM
Position Overview: The Security Officer (Armed Level 3 and Unarmed Level 2) is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment at designated client sites. This role involves patrolling, access control, incident response, and maintaining professionalism. Armed officers carry firearms and must operate within the legal boundaries and safety protocols mandated by New Mexico law, while unarmed officers focus on observation, visitor management, and basic security duties.
Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols of assigned premises to monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches. Observe and report irregularities, safety concerns, or security breaches. Maintain a professional presence to deter criminal activity.

Minimum Qualifications for Armed Security Officers:
● Armed: 3 years (Preferred)
● Must possess and maintain state Guard Certification as prescribed by presiding state law (Level’s 2 & 3)
● Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
● Baton Permit (Required)
● Taser Permit (Optional)
● OC Certification (Required)
● Hand cuffs (Required)
● New Mexico Firearms License (Required)
● Knowledgeable in general security industry standards and methods
● Valid Driver’s License
● Employment is contingent on successful completion of background check
● If prior military, must provide DD214 honorable discharge document with discharge status upon job offer
Overview of Duties and Responsibilities for Armed Security Officers:
● Provide security services at assigned site according to the site post order duty requirements
● Utilize our tour tracking software in the performance of daily duties
● Prepare accurate and detailed incident reports, as needed
● Collaboration with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
● Maintain visitor and employee access logs
● Maintain a professional appearance
Physical functions and working environment:
· Frequent extended sitting, standing and walking
· Frequent climbing stairs, ramps, and occasionally ladders
· Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling
· Frequent reaching and grasping
· Occasional lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds
· Occasional running
