Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Use POS systems such TOAST process orders, payments, and manage tabs efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring a positive experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering duties and balancing registers at shift end
- Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure availability of ingredients and beverages
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, including checking IDs and monitoring intoxication levels
- Collaborate with kitchen staff or event coordinators during catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service
- Follow all food safety regulations related to food handling, beverage preparation, and sanitation practices
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, particularly in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet environments
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies
- Experience with serving in the food industry or retail math calculations is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights; prior nightclub or catering experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
