Inside Sales Representative – Government Accounts

We’re growing—and we’re looking for a motivated, professional Inside Sales Representative to help us expand our relationships and drive sales within the government sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively call and email government clients to promote our furniture products and design services.
- Manage and grow a book of existing accounts while identifying new opportunities within federal, state, and local agencies.
- Develop a deep understanding of contract furniture lines, space planning, and government procurement protocols (FAR, GSA, etc.).
- Follow up on leads, respond to RFQs/RFPs, and prepare product quotes and proposals.
- Coordinate with project managers and designers to ensure customer needs are understood and met.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and progress in CRM software.
- Collaborate with the outside sales team to maximize account potential.
- Represent Coronado DC in a professional and service-oriented manner, building long-term customer trust.
- Create quotes for customers.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of sales experience (inside sales, B2B, or government preferred).
- Familiarity with government procurement processes or federal contracting is a big plus.
- Experience in commercial furniture sales or interior design services is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Proficient with email, phone outreach, and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Self-starter with excellent organization and time-management skills.
- Team-oriented, coachable, and customer-focused.
Bonus if You Have:
- Experience working with GSA Schedules, VA hospitals, military bases, or other public agencies.
- Knowledge of SPEC, AutoCAD, CET Designer, or space planning tools.
- Background in interior design, FF&E, or workspace planning.
