Sales Account Manager
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Account Manager to develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and account management.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow relationships with existing customers while expanding business within assigned accounts.

Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, industry events, referrals, online resources, and other lead-generation activities.

Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to promote products and services.

Provide pricing, quotations, and prepare sales agreements and related documentation.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing, delivery schedules, and customer support.

Maintain customer records and sales activity data within company systems.

Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries and resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and service.

Prepare regular reports on sales activities, customer interactions, and business development efforts.

Monitor market trends and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of business objectives.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to departmental goals and strategic plans.

Follow company policies, quality standards, environmental requirements, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
Valid driver's license
- Being able to travel within assigned territory. (1–2 times per month, with each trip typically involving 1–3 overnight stays.)

Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business reports, technical information, and industry-related materials.

Proficient in preparing reports, business correspondence, and customer-facing documentation.
Preferred Qualifications

Japanese language proficiency.

Experience serving as a sales liaison with automotive OEM customers (e.g., Toyota, Honda, etc.).

Automotive industry sales experience.
