Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiotherapy practices, with experience in outpatient settings. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient recovery and well-being by developing personalized treatment plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering exceptional patient care. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in clinical documentation standards, medical terminology, and physiologic principles related to rehabilitation.
Duties
- Assess patients’ physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations, including mobility, strength, and functional capacity assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs, goals, and medical history.
- Collaborate effectively with PTA to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation adhering to healthcare standards and electronic health records (EHR) management protocols.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, home exercises, and community resources to promote ongoing recovery.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and physiotherapy standards while fostering a compassionate environment for diverse patient populations.
Qualifications
- Licensed or certified as a Physical Therapist with relevant state or national credentials.
- Proven experience practicing in various settings such as outpatient clinics, hospitals, inpatient units, or home health care.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practice.
- Demonstrated expertise in discharge planning, care plan development, and patient rehabilitation strategies.
- Experience working with geriatric patients, pediatrics, orthopedics, neurology cases, and community-based care is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with clinical documentation standards and electronic health records (EHR/EMR systems).
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to motivate patients throughout their recovery journey.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
