Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Toddler/Infant Teacher to join our dedicated early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, develop engaging curriculum, and foster a nurturing environment that promotes the growth and development of young children. Your expertise will help lay a strong foundation for toddlers and infants, supporting their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through innovative teaching strategies and personalized care. Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children
- Lead with daily classroom routines, activities, and transitions
- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth
- Assist with diapering, potty training, meals, and rest time as appropriate for the age group
- Follow KDHE Child Care Licensing regulations, Kansas Early Learning Standards, and Kansas Core Competencies for Early Childhood Professionals
- Work collaboratively with staff and communicate positively with families
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED (ECE experience preferred)
- 6 months of experience working with young children
- Must meet KDHE licensing requirements
