Your Role: The Alchemist of Flavor Behind Our Iconic BarAs a Mixologist, you're the star of our bar, crafting cocktails, pouring wines and whiskeys, and curating experiences that elevate every sip. With artistry, precision, and a warm personality, you'll create memorable moments while upholding our values of hospitality, excellence, teamwork, and integrity in our upscale, high-energy lounge.
Key Responsibilities (Because Every Pour is a Performance):
- Craft cocktails with flair: Mix, shake, and garnish drinks to recipe perfection, innovating specials that pair with our menu—like a whiskey-infused old fashioned to complement smoky bites.
- Master the pour: Serve wines and whiskeys with finesse, offering insights to guests on varietals, flavor profiles, and pairings to enhance their experience.
- Keep the bar flowing: Manage mise en place, prep garnishes, and maintain stock levels, coordinating with barbacks for seamless service during rushes.
- Engage guests with charm: Share drink stories, recommend pairings, and handle requests with warmth, ensuring every interaction sparkles.
- Uphold safety and compliance: Verify IDs, monitor intoxication, and adhere to Nevada alcohol and health regulations.
- Maintain a pristine bar: Clean tools, polish glassware, and sanitize surfaces to keep our upscale vibe gleaming.
- Collaborate with the team: Work with servers, expediters, and kitchen staff to sync food and drink service, especially during happy hour or brunch peaks.
What We're Looking For (Your Recipe for Mixology Mastery):
- Proven experience as a bartender or mixologist in a high-volume bar, lounge, or restaurant—bonus points for wine, whiskey, or cocktail-focused venues!
- DEEP DEEP knowledge of wine varietals, whiskey profiles (from bold bourbons to peaty Scotches), cocktail techniques, and food pairings to craft and recommend exceptional experiences.
- Required certifications: Food Handler Safety Card (Southern Nevada Health District) and TAM Card (Alcohol Awareness).
- A charismatic, detail-oriented professional with strong communication and multitasking skills—you're calm under pressure, creative, and a natural at guest engagement.
- Physical stamina for standing, shaking, and serving through fast-paced shifts.
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak times (like our daily 3:30-7:30 p.m. happy hour and weekend brunches).
