Travel Medical Laboratory Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist | Georgia | 13-Week Contract
Position Title: Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
Openings Available in:
- Atlanta, GA: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM, schedule varies; every other weekend required.
- Cumming, GA: 8:30 PM–7:00 AM, schedule varies.
Pay: $42.00–$52.00/hour (Compensation varies by location, specialty, and facility.)
Duration: 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and facility needs
Important: Only Medical Laboratory Technologists and Medical Laboratory Scientists will be considered. Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLTs) are not eligible for this position.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty.
- Experience using Cerner.
- Current certification through ASCP, AMT, or AAB.
- Experience in hematology, including proficiency with Sysmex and CellaVision systems.
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist with hands-on experience using Sysmex and CellaVision systems. Candidates with previous experience in a large hospital laboratory (600+ beds) are strongly preferred, as our laboratory operates in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Our facility includes large neonatal units where performing accurate manual differentials is an essential part of daily operations. To ensure a smooth transition into the role, we are looking for candidates who are already proficient in these responsibilities and require minimal additional training.
The ideal candidate will also have experience working with a wide variety of complex specimens, including turbid samples, platelet clumps, and abnormal cell findings. Familiarity with identifying and managing these challenging specimens is essential for success in this role.
Pay: $42.00 - $52.00 per hour

- recent Med Lab Technologist & Med Lab Scientist: 2 years (Required)
- Hematology, Sysmex, Cellavision, and busy core lab: 2 years (Required)
