Aerospace Machine Shop is seeking an experience set-up machinist. Must have a minimum of 7 years Aerospace machining experience. Job Requirements are as follows:
The Machinist Level III is responsible for operating the machines according to procedures and instruction and for performing the following specific functions:
· Sets-up and operates machines according to job specification and shop
traveler instructions.
· Reviews blue prints to determine dimensions and tolerances of product.
· Possess complex and simple trigonometry math skills.
· Builds complex tooling, as necessary.
· Programs in three-dimensional and two-dimensional (CAM) according to
requirements (blue prints and specifications).
· Measures work pieces for conformance-using measuring instruments such
as, calipers and micrometers.
· Possess basic and complex machining tools such as; calipers, mics,
protractors and indicators.
· Ability to operate basic machine shop equipment such as; band saw,
surface grinder, conventional mills and lathes.
· Able to grind and sharpen complex tools.
· Follows company machining policies.
· Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
· Performs daily maintenance on machine being operated.
· Notifies the Shop Supervisor or Lead-man of any discrepancies.
Must be able to work with Horizontal and Vertical machining centers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
