Duties
- Greet clients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic’s appointment calendar efficiently
- Handle medical collections accurately, ensuring proper billing and payment processing
- Maintain detailed records of patient visits, treatments, and laboratory results with precision
- Facilitate communication between clients and veterinary staff regarding pet care instructions and follow-up needs
- Demonstrate knowledge of veterinary terminology and effectively communicate with staff and clients
Qualifications
- Previous experience in veterinary reception or administrative roles within animal care settings is preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary critical care practices
- Experience with medical collections, laboratory work, equine experience or other specialized animal handling skills is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain veterinary terminology clearly to clients
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
