Summary
As a Counter Help at Supreme Cleaners, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent service and support. This role is essential in maintaining our reputation for quality and ensuring a positive experience for every client.
Responsibilities
- Weekly Shift Requirements: 4 Weekday shifts; 8am-2pm and 2pm-7pm. Occasional Saturday shift 10am-2pm .
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their dry cleaning needs.
- Process transactions accurately using the cash register and handle cash responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the counter area and back shop areas.
- Provide information about services, pricing, and garment care to customers.
- Assist in sorting, tagging and processing of garments for cleaning.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Reliability: Must be dependable and punctual.
- Detail oriented and ability to learn quickly.
- Problem-Solving and Logic: Logical thinker who can troubleshoot and prioritize tasks.
- Basic computer skills.
- Fabric Knowledge: Familiarity with different fabrics, care instructions, and garment finishing.
- Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness in the work area.
- Ability to work on your feet for an extended period of time.
- No allergies to animals, dust and dander.
- Previous experience in dry cleaning or hospitality is a plus, but not required.
- Note: No public transportation is available to our location.
