We're looking for a motivated Line Cook who takes pride in their craft, works well under pressure, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen.
Whether you're preparing appetizers, entrées, or weekend features, you'll play an important role in delivering consistently outstanding dishes that reflect the high standards Chef's Palette is known for.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Set up and stock workstations with all necessary ingredients and equipment
- Ensure food is prepared accurately, consistently, and in a timely manner during service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout each shift
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Monitor product quality and communicate inventory needs to the kitchen leadership team
- Work closely with chefs and fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Assist with daily prep, station setup, and closing duties
- Help maintain a positive, professional, and team-focused kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and food safety practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
