We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that each customer has a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers with their purchases, manage inventory, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and communicate features and benefits to customers.
- Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions accurately, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain an organized stockroom by receiving, unpacking, and stocking merchandise on shelves.
- Assist in maintaining store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards.
- Engage with customers through phone etiquette to answer inquiries and provide information about products.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
- Experience in cash handling is advantageous.
- A proactive approach to selling products and meeting customer needs.
- Ability to perform stock management tasks efficiently.
- Previous retail experience is a plus but not required.
