Join our dynamic team at LVG Transport as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take the wheel of a variety of freight transportation operations! In this energetic role, you’ll be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in driving different types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, will ensure timely and secure deliveries. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your driving skills while contributing to the seamless flow of goods and services.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across diverse routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Fleet of long nose Peterbilt trucks
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns before and after each trip.
- Route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel consumption and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery statuses, route changes, or any incidents encountered during trips.
- We run the Midwest on a Monday through Friday schedule.
- Home every Weekend.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and freight delivery.
- Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks with proficiency in handling various vehicle types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Experience with load & unload procedures and using equipment like forklifts when necessary.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to truck driving and cargo handling.
- Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.

Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,500.00 per week
