Sugaring NYC is one of the fastest-growing organic sugaring studios in the country, and we’re looking for a talented, motivated Licensed Esthetician (Sugarista) to join our team!
As a Sugarista, you’ll learn and master our professional sugaring techniques while providing clients with exceptional service in a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Whether you’re experienced in sugaring or excited to learn a new skill, we’ll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

What You'll Do
- Perform professional body hair removal services using our sugaring techniques
- Create a comfortable, professional, and positive experience for every guest
- Build strong guest relationships and focus on client retention
- Educate guests about our services and help them choose treatments that best fit their needs
- Recommend appropriate aftercare products and educate clients on proper aftercare routines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary treatment area
- Properly clean and sanitize tools and equipment
- Work toward and exceed service and retail goals
- Attend team meetings and participate as an active member of the team
- Rotate receptionist responsibilities, including:
- Confirming appointments
- Answering phone calls
- Checking guests in and out
- Collecting payments
- Assist with general studio cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, window cleaning, sanitizing, and other routine tasks
What We're Looking For
- Active Esthetician License — required
- Experience with body waxing is a plus
- Sugaring experience is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of esthetic best practices and sanitation standards
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A warm, friendly personality and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Confidence recommending retail products and services
- Professional, dependable, and motivated
- A willingness to learn and grow
