Director of Rehabilitation

We are seeking to fill the position of Director of Rehabilitation.
- Full-Time; Monday - Friday schedule.
Director of Rehabilitation Qualifications:
- A valid, unrestricted Physical or Occupational Therapy or other Therapy license.
- Valid PA driver’s license.
- Must have at least three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing home, or other related health care facility.
- Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
Director of Rehabilitation Job Summary:
- Orientation, training, supervision and review of rehabilitation personnel.
- Establish schedules and routines with the Rehab staff and other departments.
- Utilize computer software to track and trend therapy programs for reimbursement.
- Facilitate the integration of rehabilitation services.
- Perform direct patient care as necessary.
- Chart Audits (active and discharged rehabilitation patients).
- Identify, collect and evaluate Rehab programs.
- Prepare annual budget and recommend departmental purchases.
- Develop and maintain a Quality Assurance system.
- Assist facility with marketing plans.
- Participate in in-service education programs for Rehab staff and other departments.
