Perform radiographic exams in all modalities covered under the staff radiographer’s license while providing quality care tailored to patient needs across all age groups. Evaluate patient care efficiency and participate as a valuable member of a multi-disciplinary team.

Perform radiologic procedures using appropriate techniques and equipment positioning to produce high-quality imaging

Transfer, position, and instruct patients with attention to safety and comfort

Apply effective use of immobilization devices and adhere to BRGMC Safety Guidelines

Operate radiographic equipment safely, using appropriate shielding and monitoring devices
-
Prepare and administer contrast media correctly per procedure type
-
Communicate effectively with patients and staff, explaining procedures to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation

Recognize and respond appropriately to adverse reactions

Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and all applicable safety protocols, including infection control and proper waste handling

Engage in age-specific care communication and maintain accurate patient identification during all procedures
