Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Spooling Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating spooling machines that 3D Printer filament onto spools with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure smooth production flow, adherence to safety standards, and high-quality output. Duties
- Set up, operate, and monitor spooling machines to ensure consistent winding of 3D Printer filament according to specifications
- Adjust machine parameters such as tension, speed, and alignment.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment for proper functioning; troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or electrical issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and safe work area by adhering to safety standards in production and handling industrial equipment responsibly
- Requirements
- Experience with quality control procedures including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards and dimensional measurements
- Knowledge of safety protocols in manufacturing environments including proper use of hand tools and tooling safety practices
- Ability to Stand for 8 hours per day
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds repedatively
- Attention to detail is a must
- Strong communication skills for interpreting production documents and collaborating with team members.
