Support team operations by managing all chemical programs while maintaining accurate and precise records to remain within compliance.
Essential Job Responsibilities:

Oversee Chemical Treatment Programs including: Produced fluids management: oil/produced water separation, produced water clarification, discharge reduction, ensuring process compliance and reporting in accordance with NPDES.

Well treatment including corrosion inhibition, hydrate inhibition, scale inhibition/removal, paraffin inhibition/removal and asphaltene inhibition/removal.

Corrosion monitoring programs to ensure facilities and pipeline integrity.

Gas Treatment - Hydrogen sulfide removal and dehydration to maintain gas quality.

Cost Tracking/Reporting for chemical/corrosion programs.

Work with various teams (drilling/workover/operations) to support projects as they relate to chemical treatment.

Review and approve chemicals for use – function as the chemical control officer as part of HAZCOM.

Qualifications:

Five (5) years minimum experience in chemical programs in an oil and gas industry.

Experience with vendor management and contract administration and project management.

Experience with change management systems and database development and management for chemical programs.

Thorough understanding of cost tracking and reporting.

Experience in formation evaluation program design.

Strong multi-disciplinary integration capability.

Ability to accurately solve problems.

Ability to make valuable contribution to team goals and objectives.

Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex information into an organized and presentable manner.

Strong preference for prior Permian Basin experience (5+ years)

Preference for CO2 flood experience – related to corrosion and asphaltene treatment strategies

Proficiency in the use and application of the following software:

Required: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook). Preference: Access/SQL/Power BI
Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in engineering, physical sciences or related field. Additional experience in an oil and gas industry may substitute for secondary education.
