This position is Monday-Thursday, 10 1/2 hours each day. All staff have Friday's off unless called in for an emergency.
Local Property Management Company seeking a full time Maintenance Person to perform maintenance tasks such as painting/drywall repair, light electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc. Responsibilities include basic repairs to apartment and common areas within the building to ensure property is clean, safe, and functional. The ideal candidate will have experience and some mechanical / technical knowledge. Candidates must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Responsibilities
- Perform suite turnovers which include maintenance, painting and repairing units.
- Perform maintenance service requests on occupied units and common areas.
- Install appliances and equipment (as necessary)
- Check functionality of safety systems
- Collaborate with co-workers and during the turnover process
- Report to a facilities manager or maintenance manager for issues
Requirements
- Proficient in drywall repair, plumbing, HVAC and light electrical
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity
