Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Shift
Friday: 8pm - 6am
Saturday: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am
Sunday: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises, including monitoring CCTV footage for suspicious activity.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent loss or damage.
- Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering First Aid or CPR when necessary.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
- Document incidents and prepare reports on security activities for management review.
- Engage with the public in a professional manner, addressing concerns and providing information as needed.
- Monitor, report, and respond to security breaches or other unusual activity.
- Intervene in emergency situations to prevent the loss of life or damage to property.
- May be required to hold a certification card and/or be licensed by state to carry a firearm.
- May monitor video surveillance equipment.

- Ability to stand for long hours
- Must have own Brown BDU pants & black sneakers or boots
Qualifications
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operations.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is a plus.
- Military background or law enforcement retiree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
