Job Overview
Environmental Lab Technician will be performing testing of wastewater, maintenance and calibration of instruments, data interpretation and meeting quality control EPA and state requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine testing according to SOPs and testing methods.
- Review, analyze data and information for precision and accuracy.
- Ensure data is properly uploaded into database.
- Understand quality control requirements according to SOPs and testing methods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the laboratory environment.
Experience:
- No prior laboratory experience required. Training will be provided.
- At least a high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong interest in biology, science, or environmental studies is a plus.
Schedule:
- Full time needed
- 1st shift and 2nd shift available
