We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Scrub Technician to join our operating room team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting surgeons and ensuring safe, efficient surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile environment, preparing instruments, and providing intraoperative assistance. This position offers a predictable weekday schedule with no call, weekends, holidays, or overnight shifts.

Prepare and maintain the sterile field for all surgical procedures.

Scrub and assist during surgeries by passing instruments, supplies, and equipment to the surgeon.

Anticipate the needs of the surgical team throughout procedures.

Ensure strict adherence to sterile technique and infection prevention standards.

Perform instrument cleaning, processing, and sterilization according to established protocols.

Assist with surgical instrument and supply inventory management.

Prepare operating rooms before procedures and ensure proper cleanup afterward.

Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other clinical staff to promote positive patient outcomes.

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

1-2 years of experience working in an operating room or similar surgical setting.

Previous ophthalmology surgical experience.

Monday through Friday

32-40 hours per week, depending on surgical case volume

Typical hours are between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with start and end times varying based on the daily surgery schedule.
