Summary
The Telemetry Lead will support the installation, troubleshooting, customer adoption, and training of next level telemetry and automation capabilities across the LiftOne division. This role encompasses the implementation of telematics across LiftOne’s customer base and proactively supporting LiftOne customers’ equipment through setting up units, troubleshooting issues, and assisting the LiftOne team to navigate the telemetry information portal.
Essential Functions
- On-site support for customer fleet telematics product demos and onboarding

Become a customer’s trusted advisor by recommending best practices for their products, recommended configurations, and overall architecture

Identify and resolve telemetry reporting issues across the telematics fleet

Develop installation and troubleshooting guidelines for technicians

Train technicians and LiftOne employees in software and hardware troubleshooting

Communicate with the Telemetry Team about installs and customer set up requirements

Provide technical support to the telemetry troubleshooting call center for customer and technician support requests

Travel: Up to 50% to LiftOne branches and customers throughout the Southeast

Education and/or Experience

Associate degree from two-year college or university in a technical discipline

Two years of telematics design and implementation experience or four years of telematics troubleshooting and implementation experience

Demonstrated capability in use of wiring schematics for troubleshooting and repair

Experience in aftermarket service and/or parts preferred
Computer Skills
-
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) proficiency required

SAP experience preferred

Experience with data analysis and reporting, including Excel and PowerBI preferred
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
