An experienced McDonald’s leader is needed to help run a busy McDonald’s restaurant in Lovejoy, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta.
This is a Department Manager role (similar to an Assistant General Manager) responsible for helping lead daily operations, running shifts, and keeping the restaurant organized and accountable during busy service periods.
The right person is someone the team naturally follows — calm, reliable, and capable of keeping the restaurant running smoothly when the pace picks up.
The Role
This is a hands-on operational leadership position inside a fast-paced McDonald’s restaurant.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading shifts and maintaining control of restaurant operations
- Scheduling employees and managing labor effectively
- Supporting labor control and cost awareness
- Coaching and developing crew members and shift leaders
- Ensuring consistent execution of McDonald’s systems and standards
- Maintaining strong food safety, cleanliness, and operational discipline
- Helping create a structured and accountable team environment
This role requires someone who is comfortable leading from the front during service, not managing from the sidelines.
The Right Candidate
This position requires previous McDonald’s experience.
Strong candidates typically come from roles such as:
- McDonald’s Department Manager
- McDonald’s Assistant Manager
- Experienced McDonald’s Shift Manager ready for advancement
The right candidate will:
- Be comfortable running shifts independently

Compensation & Benefits
- $20–$25 per hour
- Monthly bonus potential of $300+
