Barback
Overview
Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Barback, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create an exceptional experience for our guests. As a vital support member of our bar team, you will help ensure the bar remains clean, stocked, and organized, allowing bartenders to provide fast and efficient service during busy shifts, special events, and live entertainment.
This paid position offers a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with opportunities to learn and grow in the hospitality industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Stock beer, liquor, wine, mixers, and other supplies at all bar stations
- Refill ice bins throughout shifts
- Cut and prepare garnishes (lemons, limes, oranges, strawberries, etc.)
- Stock cups, napkins, straws, and drinkware
- Keep coolers fully stocked and organized
- Change kegs as needed
- Collect and wash glassware
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Clean spills and maintain a safe work environment
- Ensure bar areas remain clean and organized during service
- Assist bartenders with restocking and operational needs
- Help set up and tear down for events and live music performances
- Perform opening and closing side work as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, bar, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service practices is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and carry supplies for extended periods
- Dependable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Weekend, evening, and holiday availability preferred
- Prior barback, server, or bartender experience is beneficial but not required
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
