Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) Functional Consultant with 12+ years of experience to join our team onsite in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise in Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC&B), utility business processes, and customer lifecycle management. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to deliver high-quality Oracle CC&B solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Oracle Utilities CC&B functional implementations and enhancement projects.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.
- Configure Oracle CC&B modules based on business requirements and best practices.
- Support end-to-end implementation activities, including fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Collaborate with technical teams for integrations, customizations, and data conversion activities.
- Lead functional workshops and business process discussions.
- Prepare functional design documents (FDDs), process flows, and solution documentation.
- Support SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and production deployment activities.
- Provide functional guidance during issue resolution and production support.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and client expectations.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC&B).
- Deep understanding of utility customer service and billing business processes.
- Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, and functional configuration.
- Strong knowledge of billing, customer management, payments, collections, meter-to-cash, and service order processes.
- Experience with Oracle Utilities implementation or upgrade projects.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall project environments.
- Ability to lead client workshops and interact with business leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management (MDM), Customer to Meter (C2M), or Oracle Utilities Billing solutions.
- Knowledge of Oracle Utilities Application Framework.
- Experience with integration between Oracle Utilities products and ERP/CRM applications.
- Utility industry experience (Electric, Water, or Gas).
- Oracle Utilities certifications are a plus.
Pay: $60.27 - $80.13 per hour
