Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Site Manager to support the effective operation of our cleaning and maintenance services at a busy facility. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards, and maintaining high-quality cleaning operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of custodial and industrial cleaning practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily cleaning operations to ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
- Supervise cleaning staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Coordinate staff schedules to meet operational demands efficiently.
- Monitor quality standards for commercial cleaning, janitorial services, and laundry operations.
- Support management in implementing cleaning & sanitation procedures and safety protocols.
- Foster excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies while maintaining inventory levels.
- Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety regulations and best practices.
- Assist in managing team supervision tasks such as onboarding new staff and conducting performance evaluations.
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising custodial or industrial cleaning teams within commercial or hospitality settings.
- Strong background in cleaning & sanitation management, including janitorial experience and housekeeping oversight.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to industrial cleaning and facility maintenance.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for managerial interactions and customer service engagement.
- Experience with management of laundry services or hospitality-related custodial functions is desirable.
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
