Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair of various plumbing fixtures and appliances. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction sites or residential properties.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in commercial and residential settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete plumbing tasks.
- Diagnose plumbing issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project completion.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations during all work performed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to plumbing systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues.
- Experience with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety measures.
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- A maintenance person approach with skills in building or repairing various structures may be beneficial.
- Valid commercial driving license is preferred for transportation of equipment between job sites.
Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid California driver's license and a clean driving record
