Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lab Technician. In this role, you will test samples taken in a steel mill to ensure the right levels of product are being used. Some interaction with the customers is needed. Meeting with trucks to ensure our products get to the right areas of the plant.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate laboratory equipment, testing samples in a lab
- Manage laboratory workflows by organizing materials, maintaining inventory levels
- Perform routine laboratory procedures
- Ensure compliance with laboratory techniques and safety protocols
- Cleaning of the lab
- Meeting with trucks on delivery.
Requirements
- No lab experience necessary, we will train you to collect samples and do the testing.
- PPE required at all times, this will be supplied to you.
- Working in a steel mill collecting samples and testing in an indoor lab.
- Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
