American Traveler is hiring an RN - Physician Practice Nurse for a cardiology clinic setting requiring NC or compact RN licensure and at least one year of nursing experience.

Work in a physician office/cardiology clinic setting affiliated with a heart and vascular practice
-
Days shift schedule from 8:00am to 4:30pm
-
40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
No weekend requirements
-
No holiday coverage required

Active RN license (NC or Compact) required

Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required

Minimum of one year of nursing experience required

Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from an accredited school of nursing required

BSN or MSN preferred

Cardiology experience preferred

Previous experience in physician office, urgent care, or emergency department preferred

Provide clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards, reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director

Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
-
Perform patient assessment, education, and discharge planning
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to evaluate and plan patient care
-
Perform bedside point of care testing as needed

Participate in unit goals, performance improvement activities, and cost-effective care practices

Promote a safe, clean, and secure care environment for patients and staff
