Duties
- Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles safely.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best towing approach.
- Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches, ensuring secure handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns professionally.
- Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively while maintaining safety protocols at all times.
- Perform routine inspections of tow trucks and related equipment to ensure optimal functioning and compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with basic automotive repair or mechanical troubleshooting when necessary, leveraging mechanic experience and mechanical knowledge.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating tow trucks, flatbeds, or similar commercial vehicles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform automotive diagnostics and repairs.
- Familiarity with manual transmissions and automotive repair tools.
- Experience with automotive diagnostics, mechanical troubleshooting, and basic repairs.
- Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict management capabilities. Preferred qualifications include mechanic experience, familiarity with automotive repair processes, forklift operation skills, and hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics. Candidates should also demonstrate strong driving skills, knowledge of tow truck operations, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks confidently. Pay: $1,250.00 - $2,200.00 per week
