Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fitter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret shop drawings to ensure accurate assembly and welding processes.
- Perform various welding techniques in MIG (Metal Inert Gas).
- Fabricate metal components using hand tools, power tools.
- Measure materials using tape measures and rigging tools to ensure proper fit-up and alignment.
- Assemble fabricated parts accurately while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Proficiency in MIG welding.
- Ability to use measuring instruments and shop math for precise measurements.
- Familiarity with construction experience or fabrication shop environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to welding and general shop safety standards.
- Ability to operate power tools safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations involved in fabrication tasks.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
