Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse
Speciality: MS/Telemetry
Unit : Medical Oncology
Location: Columbus, OH
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (High Possibility of Extension)
Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12 Hours (07:00 AM - 07:30 PM)
Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (07:00 PM - 07:30 AM)
Compensation Package:
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,557/weekly($71 Hourly)
Taxable Pay: $1,080/week ($30/hour)
Weekly Housing & Meal Stipend: $1,477/weekly
This Medical Oncology unit provides care for patients throughout their cancer journey, from new diagnosis through treatment and end-of-life care.
Responsibilities:
· Provide direct patient care to Medical Oncology and MS/Telemetry patients.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms.
- Administer medications, blood products, and treatments as ordered.
- Perform IV therapy and central line blood draws.
- Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR.
- Follow infection prevention and fall prevention protocols.
- Float to other Med/Surg Oncology units as needed.
Required Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years of recent acute care MS/Telemetry RN experience.
- Current and consistent experience within the last 12 months in the specialty applying for.
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License.
- BLS Certification required.
- Epic EMR experience preferred.
- Oncology experience preferred but not required.
Mandatory Skills:
· Telemetry Monitoring and Interpretation.
- IV Therapy and Phlebotomy.
- Blood Product Administration.
- Central Line Blood Draws.
- Starting and Maintaining IVs.
- Dysrhythmia Recognition and Management.
- Isolation Precautions and PPE Compliance.
