Home of Guiding Hands is urgently hiring experienced caregivers for our Residential Facilitator positions.
If you have experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and are ready to take on more responsibility within a residential home, this could be a great next step.
As a Residential Facilitator, you'll provide direct support to our residents while helping with the day-to-day operation of the home. You'll work closely with the House Manager and Administrator to make sure residents receive quality, individualized care.
$22.25–$23.25/hour

Sunday: 9 AM–5 PM
Monday: 4 PM–9 PM
Tuesday: 3 PM–11 PM
Wednesday: OFF
Thursday: OFF
Friday: 4 PM–9 PM
Saturday: 9 AM–5 PM
40 Hours/Week
Sunday: 11 AM–7 PM
Monday: OFF
Tuesday: OFF
Wednesday: 3 PM–11 PM
Thursday: 3 PM–11 PM
Friday: 3 PM–11 PM
Saturday: 11 AM–7 PM

This position combines hands-on caregiving with additional responsibility in the home. You'll:
- Provide individualized care and support to residents
- Assist with grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, mobility, and other personal care needs
- Support individualized service plans and goals
- Administer medications according to agency procedures
- Complete documentation and ISP data
- Encourage community activities and independence
- Transport residents to appointments and activities
- Help with household responsibilities, including meal preparation, laundry, and housekeeping
- Communicate important information to the residential team
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and meet the experience or education requirements for the position.
The role requires a minimum of 12 months of experience working with the IDD population served as outlined in the job requirements.
You must also:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid driver's license
- Pass required health screening/TB testing and Live Scan
- Be able to provide hands-on care and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Complete required CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, Pro-Act, and DSP training
This role may include supporting individuals who display aggressive behaviors, and trained hands-on behavioral management strategies may be needed.
