Your Role as a Consultant Dietitian
As a vital part of our team, you’ll focus on clinical expertise and relationship-building to elevate resident care, with no expectation to cover kitchen shifts. Your responsibilities include:
- Conducting in-facility visits 2-4 days per week with flexible hours; remote work options available.
- Performing comprehensive nutrition assessments, monitoring weights, and overseeing nutrition-related care.
- Documenting nutritional needs, interventions, and outcomes with precision.
- Collaborating on care plans to drive quality improvements.
- Supporting the Food and Nutrition Services Department through audits to ensure safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
- Leading monthly meal rounds and QA to ensure diets meet clinical, palatability, and presentation standards.
- Providing engaging in-service education to empower facility staff.

- A Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from an accredited institution.
- Oklahoma licensure (provisional licensure welcome-perfect for early-career professionals!).

- Exceptional communication skills to build strong relationships with clients and residents.
- Strong clinical expertise, food safety knowledge, and familiarity with commercial kitchen operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel to streamline documentation.
