The Role
As our Front of House Manager, you are the face of the front of house at Sterling’s. You will manage the daily operations, mentor our staff, and ensure that our high standards for food, beverage, and guest service are met every single day.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead & Empower: Manage the full employee lifecycle—recruiting, training, and inspiring a team of 25+ to deliver excellence.
- Craft Experiences: Foster a welcoming atmosphere where guest satisfaction is the top priority, expertly handling feedback to turn every visit into a great one.
- Drive Efficiency: Oversee daily operations, cash reconciliation, and labor management to ensure our high-volume environment runs like clockwork.
- Own the Inventory: Take charge of bar and front of house inventory with precision, focusing on quality, safety, and budget-conscious ordering.
- Be a Hands-On Leader: From the expo line to the bar, you’ll be on the floor supporting your team, keeping the space immaculate, and ensuring service is prompt and professional.
Who You Are
- Experienced: You bring 5+ years of front of house leadership experience in high-volume restaurants.
- Operational Pro: You have a deep understanding of POS systems, inventory management, and food/alcohol safety protocols (TABC certification required/ able to obtain).
- A Natural Leader: You excel at managing diverse teams, diffusing tense situations, and building strong, productive relationships with both staff and guests.
- Decisive & Dynamic: You stay cool under pressure, making rapid, informed decisions that keep service seamless during our busiest peak hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays).
