Mercy Health in Lima, Ohio has an exciting opportunity for a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our employed Cardiology Group. This position has a Cath Lab/Electrophysiology focus. This robust team has an excellent reputation for amazing patient care.
· Experience preferred, new graduates will be considered.
· Focus will be outpatient diagnostics, EP procedures, and immediate post procedural care. Goal – excellent workflow efficiency and patient outcomes.
· Prioritization of timely, standardized documentation and individualized discharge planning allowing proceduralists to focus on high acuity and complex procedures.
· Formulate diagnosis, identify problems and health risk profiles, assess labs, interpretate diagnostic tests, evaluate and manage consultations, referrals, and discharges.
· This position does not have a call responsibility. Extended hours welcomed.
· Typical day – See patients in pre and post procedural areas, pre and post procedural orders, patient education, participate in procedures as a part of the care team, collaborate with in house NP or PA for patient centered care.
