We’re seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is passionate about helping patients improve their communication and quality of life.
Position Overview:
The Speech Therapist will evaluate, plan, and provide speech therapy services to patients in their homes. This role is ideal for an independent, compassionate, and motivated professional who thrives in a flexible and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients’ speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to help patients regain or develop communication and swallowing skills
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and strategies for home use
- Document visits and progress accurately in EMR (Kinnser/WellSky)
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Current Florida Speech-Language Pathology license (required)
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (home health experience a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
