Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments with precision and integrity
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Manage reservations through OpenTable or similar platforms, ensuring smooth seating flow
- Uphold food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests promptly
- Support team members during busy hours to ensure efficient service delivery in a fine dining or nightclub setting
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including serving or cashiering roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Ability to handle cash accurately, perform basic math calculations quickly, and manage transactions efficiently
- Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous for understanding food preparation processes
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Previous experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions; attention to detail is essential
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced hospitality environment
