POSITION SUMMARY: Maintenance Helper
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Helper to join our dynamic team in Gainesville, Texas. This position is responsible for minimizing downtime on the production machinery and performing routine maintenance and repairs on the buildings and property.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Assist in maintaining production and facility equipment to include installation, set up, preventative maintenance and adjustments required by technical service instructions

Perform preventive maintenance tasks at the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor on injection molding related equipment required in tooling and manufacturing

Dismantles machinery and equipment and repair at the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, pulleys, gears, bearings, bushings, etc

Maintains meticulous housekeeping with regard to work areas, tools, company vehicles and other company equipment to continually reflect the high standards of the company

Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 years' maintenance experience
- Proven record of successful troubleshooting and preventative maintenance

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word dominant)

Ability to work in hot or cold temperature climates for extended periods

Ability to squat, crouch, bend and stoop

Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods
-
Must use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms

Ability to determine root cause and design and implement corrective action quickly
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
