Owners Rep - QA/QC Technician Opening
1 Hour Outside of St. Louis in Central IL
Long Term Contract or Contract-To-Hire
Company Profile:
Owner Operator of solar utility sites being built outside of St. Louis, MO (in Central, IL) is actively recruiting a QA/QC Technician to help oversee the EPC build the solar site. This team works Monday-Friday 10 hour shifts typically for 2 long term projects in Central, IL. This opening will either be a long term contract or a contract to hire pending positive performance and interest in joining the team long term.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Working 10-hour shifts Monday-Friday, the QA/QC Technician will help oversee the EPC build the site. The QA/QC Technician will help oversee different parts of the site to ensure it is built correctly. Additional responsibilities include:
· Help plan and conduct daily activities
· On a daily basis, monitor and record all work scope being executed
· Ensures daily task schedules are met to meet the project schedule
· Interface with field technicians to ensure adequate work fronts are available to contractors
· Inspect and ensure the quality of work performed
· Detects deficiencies and address deficiencies in a timely and effective manner
· Maintain complete and accurate records during inspections so they can be transferred to permanent hard copy and/or electronic files
· Inspect the work and establish punch lists
Qualifications:
· 2-10+ years of QA/QC experience
· 1+ year of renewable experience
· Available to work Monday-Friday outside of St. Louis, MO for a long-term project
· Strong structural, mechanical, and electrical understanding
· Willing to pass a drug and background check
Compensation: $30/hr-$35/hr + Per Diem
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
