Location: Bay City, MI
Contract: 13 Weeks
Start Date: August 31, 2026
Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours: 12 Hours/Shift
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Weekends: Every Other Weekend
On-Call: None
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide respiratory care to patients requiring emergency, intensive, therapeutic, diagnostic, and cardiopulmonary services.
The RRT will provide both invasive and non-invasive respiratory treatments, monitor patients and equipment, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited too :
- Assess patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Interview and examine patients to determine appropriate respiratory care needs.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide chest physiotherapy and aerosol medication treatments.
- Administer non-invasive respiratory therapies, including CPAP and BiPAP.
- Provide respiratory care to emergency and intensive care patients.
- Perform invasive and non-invasive monitoring as required.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment.
- Educate patients regarding respiratory conditions and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Registered Respiratory Therapist experience – Required
- Previous hospital/acute-care respiratory therapy experience preferred.
- Travel experience preferred.
- Active Michigan Respiratory Therapist License – Required at time of submission
Required Certifications
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NBRC
- NRP

- Local traveler policy applies to candidates residing within a 35-mile radius of the assignment.
