Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Warehouse Operations & Refurbishment Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth warehouse functions and the successful refurbishment of equipment. Duties
- Assist with daily warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and organizing stock using pallet jacks, reach trucks, and RF scanners.
- Support inventory management activities by updating records in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and inventory software to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare items for shipment by picking, packing, and verifying orders using order pickers and RF scanners to meet customer specifications.
- Conduct refurbishment tasks such as inspecting used equipment, cleaning, repairing, and preparing items for resale or reuse.
- Maintain accurate data entry for shipping & receiving logs, stock levels, and order fulfillment records.
- Support shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers, managing documentation in compliance with trade regulations and international trade standards.
- Assist with stock replenishment and stocking activities to ensure optimal inventory levels across the warehouse.
Requirements
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP platforms such as AS400 or MRPs is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate forklifts (including reach trucks), pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely; forklift certification is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and inventory tracking.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset to support team collaboration.
- Ability to work part-time hours flexibly while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
