Crown Staffing is currently seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics to fill openings with a local Manufacturing company in Kansas City, MO.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday
- Pay Rate: $18-24 Depending on experience
- Location: Kansas City, MO
Diesel Mechanic Requirements/Qualifications:
- Standard personal Mechanic Tools required
- Diesel technology certificate or vocational training preferred.
- 0–2 years of diesel mechanic experience (shop experience or internships welcomed).
- Basic understanding of diesel engines and vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to read repair manuals and follow written instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
As a Diesel Mechanic your responsibilities will include:
- Perform preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and lubrication.
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify mechanical issues and recommend repairs.
- Replace worn or damaged parts using proper repair procedures.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders.
- Operate diagnostic tools and basic shop equipment under supervision.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Follow all company policies and OSHA safety standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and certification opportunities
