Murphy Desmond S.C., a prestigious Madison, Wisconsin, full-service, mid-sized law firm seeks a full-time associate attorney to work with its collection law, creditor rights, and commercial litigation team. The associate attorney may have the ability to work in other areas, if interested.
Required skills and qualifications include: (1) admission in good standing to the Wisconsin bar; (2) exceptional written and oral communication skills; (3) ability to identify and analyze issues, and to consider and articulate strategies for client consideration in a timely manner; (4) ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks; (5) willingness and ability to work within a team; and (6) ability to maintain confidential records and communications. Also, one or more years of legal experience would be a plus.
The compensation package is commensurate with the position and level of experience.
