Surefire Market is a Charlotte food brand built on hospitality, quality, and a high standard of execution. We're hiring a General Manager to lead our Camp location and help grow the people, culture, and day-to-day excellence of the restaurant.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop managers, shift leads, and team members
- Maintain high standards of hospitality, food quality, cleanliness, and speed
- Manage inventory, quality, and food safety protocols
- Drive sales and profitability through strong shift execution and cost control
- Oversee labor, scheduling, and payroll discipline
- Train team members on Surefire systems, standards, and procedures
- Create a positive, accountable culture focused on growth and consistency
- Support local brand presence through strong guest experiences and community connection
- Partner with ownership on restaurant performance, priorities, and continuous improvement
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years of restaurant management experience in a fast-paced environment (GM or AGM experience preferred)
- Working knowledge of restaurant operations, including team leadership, food quality, sanitation, scheduling, and guest service
- Demonstrated ability to coach others and lead with hospitality
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on standards and developing people
- Knowledge of basic restaurant financials, including labor and food cost
- Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of restaurant operations
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Reliable commute to Charlotte, NC 28206
Compensation
- $60,000/year during the first 120 days
- $70,000/year after successful completion of the 120-day ramp
- KPI bonus eligibility after 120 days, based on restaurant performance
